*Blessing Day*

This past Sunday we blessed Bodie. Greg did such a nice job. Inside our house was a little cramped. But luckily the rain didn't totally ruin the dinner outside after. It was a good day.
I had fun doing all these picture collages, so enjoy. Below is people getting the food, Bodie's great g-ma Bangerter, then Bodie and his grandma's (my mom and Greg's mom - obviously), and a group outside.
Hard to get a good photo of our growing family. Bodie ended up wearing an outfit that either Greg wore when he was blessed, or his brother Rick. Nobody could remember. It was kinda big, but oh well. The one Jax and Creed wore was way to small for them. You can't win.

Bodie and the proud daddy who gave the baby blessing.Bodie was just a little tired.

And last week Jax started preschool. Here is the classic first day photo op. Little bro Creed had to join in too.

That afternoon for the first time all spring/summer the ice cream truck came by. So after a little bawling I let them get a treat. It was weird, the "music" on the truck was joined by the sound of horses. I have to mention the fun weekend I had in Park City with my friends from gowing up/high school. We had such a good time. I am so glad to still get together with them. Sorry no pictures, forgot my camera.

A Few Things

When Bodie was 3 weeks I decided to try a little home photo shoot. I think I took about 85 shots, trying to get one where he was cute, his hands weren't in the way, older brothers or their hands weren't in the picture, and his eyes were somewhat looking at the camera. I think I ended up with like 3 possibilities. Below is my favorite and then some other variety ones. I've been trying to do some fun things with the boys this last month. Being pregnant and not very mobile all summer and then the first few weeks with a new baby I've been home bound and not out and active. Poor boys haven't done very much this summer. So we took them to Liberty Park, they have a fun water feature there. We had bananas for lunch. So healthy I know. We also took them to the Dino museum at Thanksgiving point $2 Tuesdays. They should do that price all year! The boys loved all the skeletons and this shark.

Our Labor Day weekend was full of labor, and some playing. We painted our pretty green office to a blue for when we move the 2 older boys to their new room next month. When I say we, I mean Greg painted and I made an appearance to supervise every so often.

Some weekend fun we had pool time with cousin's David and Lisa Apple at her parents house. And we got take out for dinner on the way home.
We let the boys stay up late one night (10:30pm) to watch Bolt, cute movie, but a lot to explain the story line to Jaxon. I can't believe it's September already. Hopefully it will be filled with good weather. I've been taking the boys outside almost everyday to ride their bikes in the drive way. It would be nice to keep that up for a while. Fall can take it's time coming.

2 Weeks already

Wow, 2 weeks old. Time goes by fast. Here's a little of what's been going on. Creed gives Bodie loves all day long, never stops. He'll say "Oh Bo-Bee" , "Hi Bo" in his cute little voice. Then closes his eyes and leans into a little hug. So cute! Jax is very proud of his sunflower that he got as a little sprout in preschool. It's now taller than him. Last Sunday night, Jax accidentally wacked Creed in the head with a broom, and we had to rush over to Insta-care and Creed got 2 staples in his head. Hard to see in the picture, sorry.

And when Bodie isn't sleeping, I try and snap a few pictures. His brothers are very sweet with him, most of the time.

Bodie Ethan

Introducing... Bodie Ethan Lorenzon!

I must say he is adorable. We think he has features of Greg, Jax, and Creed. I see a lot of Creed, but he has his own look. You can tell he is a Lorenzon boy. He looks like his brothers.

Here's the dilly yo - Born in August at 12:40pm. Weight was 7lbs 11oz. (Jax was 7.10, Creed was 8.12-fyi) 20 inches long. It was fairly quick. Broke my water just after 8am and then after 2 pushes, out he came. It was great, I was one of those lucky ones to have it go quickly!

He is a little early, I went to my Dr. appointment on a Monday and was already dilated to about a 5 and effaced. My Dr. was leaving town for the next 9 days, so we decided to just do it!

A very proud and excited big brother Jax! Creed LOVES babies! He is always wanting to hold him. Unfortunately right when we come home from the hospital, Creed gets an ugly cold and now we have to keep him away. :(Bodie has a nice full head of hair. Probably more than either of his brothers did. Getting ready to head home from the hospital. Cute big yawn. I have lots of pictures to start taking.

A Few Days Before...

Last Saturday, the 1st, we went to Park City for the day to visit Greg's cousin and the boys played in the pool while I sat and relaxed. We played in the yard and the boys spent many hours driving around. Creed finally knows how to drive and actually steer it around.
And here I am at 38 weeks. Big, miserable, and ready for boy #3 to arrive!

*Camping*

Well, I let Greg take the boys and go up to the annual Uinta's camping trip. Greg's whole extended family goes every year to the high Uinta's Black's Fork River - area. So they weren't alone. And thanks to everyone who helped watch my boys in the wilderness. I might have considered going if the hour long dirt/rocky/bumpy road wouldn't have killed me or put me in labor. So I stayed home. That's pretty much all I do. Even going to the store takes too much out of me. I could hardly push the cart around the other day. Anyways...

So Greg took the tent instead of the camper trailer and from what I hear they had a grand time. Getting VERY dirty, not getting nearly enough sleep, playing in the tent, fishing, eating, campfire, and on and on. They didn't want to come home, it wasn't long enough. My sister came over and stayed with me and I hung out with my fam over the 24th weekend.

*Fun at the Fountain*

Last week when it said it was 105 degrees in my car we headed to the Gateway Fountain for playing and dinner. The boys had fun. Creed never really got soaked or his head very wet. But he loved getting lightly sprayed and watching everybody else.
Below, Greg is trying to show Creed how to get wet.
Jax loved getting wet, loved punching the water, and waited to get soaked.
Creed was all smiles, but was mostly dry.
I don't have a good picture of me and my growing belly, so this is what you get for now. I've certainly noticed that when you are pregnant, you get attention! Everyone stares, and since I carry so dang low, I think I look funny and everyone assumes I'm ready to pop any day. I'm used to all the comments, although I can't believe some of the things people actually say. They have no clue I guess, often times it just sounds rude, so I just try and shrug it off. I've been told I look miserable, tired, look so uncomfortable, etc. What happened to the "glowing" motherly look? Gosh, I try and do my hair and make-up everyday, is it really just the "basketball" I'm carrying around that looks so foreign to people. Am I the only pregnant person they've seen?
On Sunday after I said the prayer in Sacrament meeting, I was walking back, and all eyes were on me, watching the belly waddle back to my bench. That's one thing I don't like, I have enough pain and am way uncomfortable that I walk like I was carrying triplets or something. I have to laugh.
But I must say, this pregnancy has been the best so far. I've been wearing a maternity support belt and it has saved me. I was practically on bed rest when I was prego with Creed. So much pain, in my back, hips, legs, sciatic nerve shooting down my body, ball ligament pain, cried almost everyday. And this time around, it is all very minimal compared to last time. So I thank the belt and my prayers! I am really on the count down now. We've even narrowed a list of names. Getting close.
Greg's sisters are having babies too, Andrea last week, and Laura tomorrow I think. I envy them, being done and having their little bundle of joy to bring home. Congrats to them.
Ok, sorry about my soap box.

*The Fourth*

This nation will remain the land of the free only so long as it is the home of the brave.
~Elmer Davis
***********
What a great holiday! I love America and all the celebration. Summertime, fireworks, BBQ's, parades, fam and friends, red, white, and blue. It is all the best! We had a enjoyable 4th this year.

Greg and I took the boys up to East Canyon Reservoir for a picnic and the boys had a grand time throwing rocks in the water. Then it got kinda cold and started sprinkling on us so we packed up and left. We had family and friends over to our house that evening for a little partay! The kids all played in the kiddie pool, with the hose sprinkler toy and had water gun fights. We BBQ'd and ate and visited. Then had our usual homemade fire work show in the street!

Here's a fam photo and one of Greg helping all the kids with their fireworks, Greg did a good job again lighting the show for everyone. My sister Amy helped too. Neighbors came over, we had quite a nice group. It was a lot of fun. The boys loved having both sets of grandparents, cousins and friends over, Greg and I had such an enjoyable time too. Thanks everyone! And hope you all enjoyed your weekend!

Now that the 4th is over I always joke and say that I guess summer is over now. :( At least people in Utah have the 24th to look forward to. I suppose I need to start getting ready for this baby boy to arrive. I need to finish the quilt I want to make, get the clothes out, make space for the baby and most important, come up with a name for him!!

*June Soak*

The rains came, and then they went for like a day, then came again and again. Ugh! When will summer get here? Although I shouldn't complain about the coolness so far. Come August I will be dying I'm sure. Half of my flowers aren't doing so well, it's been too rainy and cloudy, they need the sun.
We went up to Greg's friends 2nd home in Eden near Pineview, then we went again and took the boys. I love it up there. We all had a such a good time.
Making breakfast in the morning. Our friends Spencer and Celeste came too. The boys stayed up way too late, threw rocks in the river, went on a 4wheeler ride, and played the whole time. The next day we went to the Eccles Dinosaur Park in Ogden. They loved it! Jax especially, he's totally into dinosaurs, bones, skeletons, everything on the list.

The boys could have stayed digging "brushing" all day long. Jax was so pleased every time he "found" another piece.
Daddy holding up Creed to touch the jaw and Jax being a caveman.
*
And Jax started swim lessons this week. He loves it. Can't get enough of the water. I'm glad he's not scared. I'm sure being in a class with his friends is a big help. Below he is jumping in and then the group making their way around the deep end of the pool. Getting so brave. But the hard part is what to do with Creed during the lessons. It can be tricky. Hopefully he won't end up in the pool. I am glad they are indoor. Burr to be outside.
