*Holidays Again*

So yes we've had our tree up since last Thursday. What can we say? In my defense, Thanksgiving comes at the end of the month this year and leaves less time before x-mas and my hubby gets a little excited and is a Christmas fanatic! It is fun, no big boxes this year to blockade the tree. Just some minor yelling at Creed to not touch or pull anything :)

This year I added a few hanging ornaments from the ceiling. I like it, but I'm sure others think it's weird. I saw it in a magazine and thought I'd try it. Voila! What do you think?
I suppose I'll save a full picture of our tree for a Christmas post. Isn't Christmas the best?!

So on that note... Happy Thanksgiving to all! We have so so much to be Thankful for. What a great idea for a holiday to eat and be thankful. We are so blessed and so grateful for all our wonderful family and friends. Life has been good to us and we know being happy is what it's all about. If you are ever feeling down, then just sit and think of what you would tell people you're thankful for on Thanksgiving, it's bound to put you in a better mood. We are grateful to have jobs, our home, cars that run, all the necessities, and yes, a great country. We are also grateful for the Gospel of Jesus Christ. This is a great time of year, so enjoy this season! (I sound like a Christmas card - oh well.)

*Dancing Over*

Well my favorite show is over again. I just love Dancing with the Stars. It is such a fun show. It wasn't my fav season, but still great to watch. Brooke Burke won and she is awesome. I am glad. And she looks amazing after 4 kids. Till next time. :)

2 and loving it!

My baby turned 2 years old! Creed is certainly a little boy now. I can't believe how fast time has gone. It seems like he should be a little one. Maybe because he doesn't talk much like a 2 year old? I went back and read about his birth and 1st year and I have forgotten all the bad things. My body didn't do well being pregnant with him, and recovery wasn't so hot either, his first year vomiting formula a lot because of his intolerance, to the numerous Dr. visits from this last year. What a journey with this kid. Looking forward to another year.
Creed loves to laugh and run all over the house. He can let Jax wrestle and roll all over him, but he certainly can hold his own and fight back with his older brother. He is great at playing, playing, playing. He loves to do anything Jax is doing. They chase each other all day long. He always seems to want food or snacks, but at the same time is the pickiest eater around. He is full of facial expressions, happy, sad, and everything silly between. He is a character. And we love him dearly.

On his birthday in the morning we opened a present and he immediately had to take it and run and hide behind the couch so Jax wouldn't bother him or try and take his Handy Manny.Sitting at the table to sing and blow out the candles. And Jax right there to help.Ta Da! Jax blew out the candles. Picks up the whole piece and starts eating. Love him! It was such a yummy cake.

Presents all open, too busy playing to look up for the picture. oh well. We kept telling Creed all day, Happy Birthday and would even sing to him, but kept telling us no, no (to not sing) but by the end of the day he loved and thought this birthday thing is pretty darn good.

Ch Cha Cha Changes...

Isn't she a beauty?
It's the Fossil Boyfriend silver dial watch line. I made a big change and had to retire my old watch. I've had it FOREVER! I am sad to see it go. I got it in like '98-'99 or something. Practically 10 years. I can't believe it. I loved my watch when I got it and it's lasted through my wear and tear. And the little side screws keep falling out now, some of the polish is worn off. It looks abused. I have periodically looked at a replacement. And when I saw this, had to have it. So I'm sure I will enjoy it. It looks great on my wrist. Maybe you think I'm kinda sad by getting all excited over a watch. But when you have to have one, I never go without wearing one. Can't stand not knowing what time it is and my arm feels naked. So, the watch is important to me. Hopefully this will last years to come too. Go Fossil!

Cute Sunbeam or Nightmare?

So yesterday was the Primary Program. Jax was in the front and the entertainment as a Sunbeam. As a parent, I loved it! The cutest thing ever to see your child up there. He said his memorized lines and then some. He added some other stuff. It was just the best. Then the rest of the time he just goofed off, his poor teacher had her hands full with him, thanks Sara. He was up, down, here, there, poking, pushing, laughing and always doing something. He is truly just like his daddy. Here are some pics we took a few weeks ago. Their 2 and 4 year old birthdays are coming. I can't believe my babies are little boys?

**November Rain**

I've always liked Guns 'N Roses song titled "November Rain". Now that it's November that can be my theme song? Although so far, the November rain was awful. We lost our power yesterday at 10am or so, and didn't get it back on until just after 10PM!! I'm a little ticked at the ridiculous power company!! It's along story. Anyways....October is over so my new post will be all about our Halloween.
A Halloween party at Canyon Rim Park last week. Below the boys are posing nicely for me. Can you tell? Blurry, not looking or smiling. :)
Greg had to drag little Superman to the car. Creed just didn't want to leave.
Greg's bro had his party and their band played, Greg was a drag queen. Although he pretended to be Gwen Stephani. I was a punk witch, I guess that's what I'll call it?Halloween night, we quickly carved our pumpkin, eat some Barbacoa, got the boys in their costumes, went trick-or-treating, put the boys to bed, and watched "The Hulk" with my sis. Amy and friends Spencer and Celeste who joined in the evening-o-fun!
Creed as Superman, and Jax as the Transformer "Bumble Bee" . Fun Halloween 2008! The loot, and out in the neighborhood.

It's a coming...

We're getting all excited for Halloween. I think it is a great month! When you are a little child, a teenager, or parent, I think Halloween is one holiday that is great for everyone. It builds the whole month with decorations every where, you can't beat trick-or-treating as a child, and dressing up and going to parties as a teenager, and a young adult. Always so much fun! Now we get to take our own kids out door to door to get CANDY, so that I can eat it. (he he)

Some Halloween pasts...
Here are some pumpkins we painted in 2004 with my brother Cameron and his wife Amy. I have to give credit to theirs, in the back row. Love the mutilated pumpkin.
Jax on Halloween 2005, the cutest little bear you've ever seen.

Here in 2006 Magnum P.I. with our little superman and a pregnant, I mean big, silly looking T.C.

Oct. 2000, I was a dead beat up bride, Jolene and Emily. We went to a party only to find someone stole my idea and had an even better dead zombie bride.

Fun times! I'll let you know all about this year in a few days, our count down begins!

*The Happenings*

Yuck, the snow last weekend. Here's the boys playing outside. Jax thought it was fun using toys as the snow mans limbs. So he had to put a "belly button" on the guy. We thought it was too funny to move it to the middle & correct ball, of abdominal snow.Last Sunday we actually combed and put some product in the boys hair, so it's not all fro and fuzzy head. This is Jax's first tie. He said he was handsome, I have to agree. He was excited to look like his daddy. The boys nightly ritual has been to get NAKED!! Creed would run around in his diaper all day if I let him. He gets so happy to run and play before we get his PJ's on. Creed will come up to me pulling on his clothes and saying "on on" but we know he means to say "off off". They copy each other all the time. Here I am with my rascals, and my new hair cut.The snow melted quickly, and it has been so nice outside. We finally made our trip to the zoo on Saturday. Below, the boys riding the train. Creed missed all the animals, too busy looking down at the tracks as it went along. And we asked Jax to smile for the picture, and this is what he does. (at least he looked at the camera this time)We saw the lion (mountain), tiger and bears, oh my! The elephant proceeded to rip the wood fence down and eat it while we watched. Here is Creed checking out the animals.
A little sick and tired of chasing Creed, so up on Greg's shoulders he goes.

*A Little Time*

So many pictures, and so little time. I love taking pictures. I love editing them. I could spend all day doing stuff like this. So thanks for the tip Amber.

Jax loves taking the umbrella outside. He LOVES the rain, splashing in puddles, and everything else kids do.Fall = Apples. Jax chose the biggest apples he could find at the store. Gala are my favorite. The boys must like them too. I found them sitting together under the table. Creed loves to pick the pretty little yellow "flowers" that grow from the grass. Other people call them dandelions.

Silly face Jax. I can always count on him to not smile nicely for pictures. But this was cute.

*Preschool and Boys*

Preschool started almost a month ago but I wanted to share this... below is the first day at orientation. Here is Jax with this friends. I think it's rather funny, cute Amber is holding Starburst candy, Jax (on the left) is eating a big chocolate chip cookie, and Carden (in the middle) is eating a Cauliflower! He has one of those good moms. :) And I like the 2 paint spots on Jax's shirt, boys!
Everyday when preschool ends, all the kids hold onto a handle on a rope and all walk slowly to the parking lot. It is so cute. Jax is in the red shirt at the end. The caboose. I wonder what this will be like when it's raining or snowing? Hmm, I hope Miss Dana works on that yard? And here is Jax pulling back on the rope trying to get everyone to stop, so he can rest. Who knew someone could get so tired walking 30 yards?

We're following the leader where ever he may go, tee dum, tee dee...
Silly Creed.
Whenever Jax has to go potty, Creed marches right into the bathroom and copies Jax. He pulls up his shirt, holds it with his chin and pretends to go potty by holding his bellybutton.

I pulled him out of Jax's way and asked him to show me how he goes potty. He is showing me his "pee pee" I guess? Funny boys. Maybe this is a sign, that he will be ready early and quickly to potty train?
