*Our Addiction*

3 years in a row. We are addicted. We admit it. We love Hawaii, it's in our blood. This time we went to the Big Island. We left the boys home. Thanks Amy for parenting our boys. And the others who helped. (Greg's mom, Spencer & Celeste, my mom) Life savers!

There are lots of pictures. When you are in paradise it easier to show then to tell. Below is Greg out playing in the water, he's in the middle of the picture.

Here I am sporting the pregnant belly. I'm barely done with the 1st trimester but look A LOT further along. It's amazing how every pregnancy the belly just pokes out sooner and bigger. In fact, the clothes I tried on, while packing, that fit, by the 2nd day, no longer fit. I couldn't wear any of my shorts/bottoms that I brought. That was amazing. Crazy! Anyways, for those that didn't know, yes, we are having our 3rd and I'm due in August. :)

Our resort from a road above.

Back to Greg playing in the water. Here he is body surfing. He was quite good at it. I of course, opted to just take pictures. Although, as you can see these waves were small, perfect for little kids to boogie board. No big waves to knock me over.

We went to the Kona Temple. That was neat. I've never been to "smaller" temple. Very interesting it was "very" laid back. But I felt at home. Nice people.

Another pretty beach.

Our last night eating pizza on our balcony. It's kinda dark, it was a gorgeous sunset.

Black Sand Beach. All the lava around was pretty neat.

Something else that was neat... Hawaii Volcano's National Park. In January they closed half the park due to another big eruption, but we were able to see the cauldron and lots of fume vents. Here is Greg at a vent and I am at an old lava flume/tunnel. We couldn't stay till dark to drive down and see the hot lava flow and glow at night into the ocean.

We missed our boys and are glad to be back home with them. Till next time!

*Talk About*

So talk about huge! As of last night, my 2 year old Creed is actually making his own effort to speak, without being asked to repeat what we ask. For whatever reason, Creed just doesn't talk yet. He has a few words he'll say, like mama, more, Buzz. The important stuff. We've had a speech intervention lady come to our house that has been "working" with him. He does great with everything else he does. His other "motor" skills are above average. He is able to communicate well with us at home. I know what he wants or needs, most of the time. He just points, wines, makes uh uh noises, etc.

He has slowly been getting better at saying words. Before he wouldn't even repeat what we'd ask, but now he totally does. He just hasn't been speaking on his own will. And at 3am we heard a thud, he was out of bed and had dropped Buzz Lightyear on the floor and it hit his door, so we get up and he is asking for mommy. We put him back in bed and tell him it's still night time and to go back to sleep. Then he sees his Ernie doll on the floor and points and says "Ernie"!!! I hand it to him and then he says, "Thank You"!!!! So I kiss him and say go to sleep, good night! He says "night"!! I was blown away. I am so excited. I hope this lasts and gets better!

Speaking of Buzz Lightyear. Creed loves him. Jax went through a phase of loving him and watching Toy Story all the time, I'm sure all little kids do. But that was nothing compared to Creed. Can you say Obsession!! He has him 24/7. He asks all day long to to watch Buzz. He'll turn the TV on and say Buzz. He likes to say and just repeat the word Buzz over and over. He carries him around all day, even when we leave the house. And I caved and now he sleeps with him, naps, bedtime, eating, whatever. Creed and Buzz are one.

*** I've probably made it sound like Creed is really verbally challenged. He actually speaks quite a few words and comprehends things very well. I think that he has just been slow to develop that skill and has been stubborn about speaking, since he's gotten by just fine with grunting and stuff. So, progress like this just makes me really excited! It is fun to watch my little boy growing up.

Philadelphia = 6 Years

I mention Philly because I always say that Greg and I fell in love on the Streets of Philadelphia. We were dating the summer of '02 and then he up and left to go back to Baltimore to finish his last year of law school. I had see where our relationship was going, and I missed him. So the middle of September I flew out to D.C. and my wonderful friend Jolene drove me up to Baltimore to see him. I ended up staying there and on a Saturday Greg and I drove up to Philly because I had never been there. It was such a great day. We truly fell in love. That was the city, the day, that I knew I LOVED him. After I got home is when I told him just that, over the phone, and we decided to get hitched. So here we are 6 years later. Happy Anniversary to us!

Scanned photos, sorry the quality is poor on blogger. But oh well. Here are Greg and I in front of Independence Hall with the Liberty Bell gated off behind us. And yes, he had longer hair.A little over a month later, engaged, and me back east visiting him. We were so in love. This was the last trip before he cut his hair for our engagement pictures. We were so glad when Greg was able to finish up his last semester at BYU law school as a visiting student so we could be married. We would've had to wait until May. Too long for us. Here are some "blooper" pictures of our wedding day. The photographer and my mom helping pose us for a picture, I'm sure with my face I must have been saying something nice?
Here I'm being silly and grabbing Greg's butt. Maybe I'm crazy for actually showing this photo, but it's all fun!
And a real picture. Kissing on the "streets" of Salt Lake.We had an awesome Honeymoon. I loved every minute of it. We went to Carmel, Calif. I can't wait to one day go back. It was great weather. We were the only ones on the beach wearing swim suites to get some sun, everyone else was wearing sweat shirts. They probably thought we were crazy, but it was warm for us. In the lower 70's.
A year later for our 1 year anniversary we took a Caribbean Cruise. Here we are on St. John. We rented a little boat on St. Martin and cruised around and found an empty beach. It was another great trip. I'm glad I found Greg. We have such a great life. Great little family. Great happiness.

*Flash Back Friday - Poffabro*

Finally, a new post! Gosh, I have been wanting to do something, but I had nothing to put. No pictures, no stories or anything boring or exciting. I'm desperate to get rid of the x-mas post. Happy New Year. 2008 was a great year for us. I can't believe it's already 2009. I remember when it turned 2000 I thought it was so weird sounding to say that instead of 19_ _. Now the decade is almost over. And I did have a birthday. But that just means I'm even older now so that's not fun and no pictures of that.
Well my flash back is about this house...
Poffabro, Italy. This is Greg's family's ancestral home. Greg is one of the ones in black in this photo. His great grandpa built it in the late 1890's and finished it in 1901. Greg is also actually named after him, Vincenzo Lorenzon. Greg's first name is Vincent. Anyways that home is not as old as it looks or I would have thought. But still an incredible place. It's quite large and is near a little town square in a quaint little village in northeastern Italy. Up in the Dolomite Mountains. His family always talks about it. In April of 2006 when Greg and I went to Italy to visit his cousin Chad stationed there as a dentist in the military. We took a day and drove up and were able to go in, have a little tour see the town, visit with the locals and people that know his family. It was really neat. Some of his extended family still goes there and uses it as a vacation home. So maybe one day we can take our children and go again.
Changing the subject. I thought this picture of Jax from June '05 when he was about 7 months old was so cute. So here it is. I wish I could be taking a nap right now! How comfy he looks? Ha! He used to always sleep with his butt in the air. Funny kid.

*Twas the Season*

Here is Jax after a Candy Cane massacre. This year he really got into eating every candy cane he could get his hands on.And we gave ONE to Creed. He ate less than half, but had fun licking and smearing. Luckily we still have our high chair out to confine him at times like this.****************
Christmas Eve we went up to my parents and had a little party with the Williamsen clan. Lots of yummy food and good company. Creed touching things he knows he shouldn't. There is always so much neat stuff at grandma's house.Grandma trying to get a little game of Candyland going. Here the boys are patiently waiting their turn to open a gift. I couldn't believe they sat and waited.********************

Christmas morning, the boys are all smiles while checking out their stockings. It took a few minutes for them to notice these. But they were a fun favorite of the day. Too bad the day before Jax hopped the gate and went down the stairs and found them. We had to tell him that they were mom and dad's surprise for Christmas, not Santa's. We took them over to the church gym to drive them around. I suppose we'll have to do this all winter? They loved it all!Creed showing off his favorite toys.
Well we didn't have any visitors on Christmas, the snow storm kept people at home. But the day after the boys played outside with daddy. Greg had lots of time off work over the holiday and we enjoyed time at home, we went sledding and took the boys to the pool. We loved all the time together. It was so nice.

*Some of my Loves*

Of course I love my boys. I love family. I love where I live. I love seasons. Right now I am really missing summer.Love Family! I don't have an easy access picture of my side of the fam with everyone. But here is my parents with some of their grand children. Here is Greg's side, minus Abe, when everyone gets together it gets loud, not by me though :). And we love them.
I love Kauai. My mom took this great photo. I love it even more when it's a snow storm here like it is today. Which brings me to my next love. If I could pick a great SUV for me to drive it might be an Escalade. I don't have one, but I am glad I have a 4 wheel drive to get me around on the bad snowy roads like today. I love just clicking the 4x4 high button that helps give great traction and I can make it up the UN-snowplowed hills in the neighborhood.
I love chocolate. I always have some on hand. And now I have my boys addicted too. Creed knows right where to go to get one. Can't go wrong with Hershey's.
I love cereal. I think I've said this before, but I could eat it any time, any day! My current new favorite is Cascadian Farm Granola... see below.
I've seen similar things on others blogs, kinda fun to do. But maybe I just wasted a half hour of my afternoon. Oh well. :)

Best Wishes

So it's been a crazy busy time. We had our Christmas season started nicely. Most of the shopping done. Greg and I went to my work party, we got to get dressed up for a nice time.Bubble bath for the boys. It was a spider man bottle. Why did it have a floral sent? Who knows.Play time - Jax being Batman, his friend Carden as Spider man, Creed the "bad guy" to chase around. I stole this photo from the Erickson's, they watched the boys, and organized all the transportation toys. Cute faces. Then everything got put on hold. Greg and I had to do our church ward Christmas party. I lost sleep, stressed a little, ran around trying to get everything ready. It was a Saturday morning breakfast. It turned out well. We had a special visitor. At the last minute my wonderful serving dad was able to be Santa Claus for us. Luckily Jax didn't recognize his grandpa. Thank you so so much dad and mom! I have the best parents ever!

Creed loved it. He wasn't scared or shy, he kept going back to try and get more candy. Here Jax is telling Santa the novel of presents he wants. Jax had no fear either. Loves Santa. Several of the kids were shy or scared. But not the Lorenzon boys.
Our countdown for Christmas begins!

*Lots about Jax*

Time for a little flash back in time. Here is my precious little guy on his first Christmas. He is about 3 weeks old. Sleeping away all cozy.
Here Jax is about 6 months old. It's kind of a blur, but I have this cute picture on a mug.

About the same time, babysitting aunts gave him a mow-hawk, his expression looks like a tough guy. Gosh, he is so cute!

Jax at 18 months. He loved playing with the hose. Still does. In fact, who doesn't?
This was Jan. of 2007. He was just over 2 years old. He got a hold of my mascara and ran and hid to apply it. After he did his eyes he then did our carpet. It cleaned up pretty good. I got to it when it was still a little moist. Phew!

*************************************
And now he is 4!! Time goes by so fast. Looking at all the older pictures of him to put on here, makes me miss when he was so little. He is such a big boy. He will tell you.
Here on Tuesday in the morning Jax is opening his favorite toy ever, the Transformer, Optimus Prime. By the end of the day he could transform him all by himself. I am a pro at it myself.

Preschool he was king for the day! He had such a great day, he kept telling me. I told him he'd have a little party after dinner when it's dark outside. So all day long, like 15 times, asking is it night time yet? He was so excited.
Here he is patiently waiting to blow out the candles. He could hardly hold back! Blowing them out. He wanted to put them on his own cake, we tried lighting it several times, he kept blowing them out too soon. Creed loved the cake! He turned into an animal and wanted more, even the plate!
Presents, balloons, party, and his Oreo cake. He loves Oreo's, but I hardly ever let him eat any. He just eats the cream and makes such a mess.

Jax is so much fun to have around. He is such a mini Greg. He loves talking, he always has something to tell me. He is always wanting to play and have us play with him. He is my life. We love him!
