We had a fun filled Labor Day weekend. No work this time. We went camping at Albion Basin at the top of Alta with our friends the Martins and Erickson's. We couldn't get a camp spot during peak wild flower season, but at least it was a holiday weekend. Here is the best picture I have of the group at dinner. The Lorenzon boys are all on the table. In the back is Josh, Sarah, then Hunter Martin in the high chair. On the right is Spencer, Celeste with little Crew Erickson. And then the very out numbered girls on the trip, plus Rafe. (9 boys to 3 girls).
It was 30 degrees colder up where we were. 97 in the hot valley and we were at like 67. Crazy. But it made our hike on Saturday up to Cecret Lake totally fine. We even had a little cloud cover. The boys did great. I held Bodie's hand almost the whole way. He was a trooper.
Here's all my boys making the steep trek
up to the top.
It started to rain right as we got back to camp. We had to hurry and pack up and leave. Up at the lake the boys all had fun throwing rocks in and the older two had fun exploring.
On Sunday we went to a little family reunion at a park and then Greg's mom took Jax and Creed to her house to spend the night at Grandma/pa Lorenzon's. And then Monday afternoon we had a little BBQ and pool time at our neighbors house our friends the Abbotts. It was a fun time. Jax and Creed flipped and jumped in the pool while Bodie and Rafe played in the shallow end.
Now summer is truly over. Completely over!
